I may have mentioned my intense love/hate relationship with stores like Zara and H&M. While I love them dearly, I am prohibited from shopping them because of where I live (yes, Arkansas). Happily, I will be going to Dallas next weekend to visit my wonderful Aunt Ann. She is always amenable to shopping with me and has taken me to the loveliest little vintage shops. This time I’m going prepared…with a shopping list…for Zara!

When skin is no longer sun-kissed and cheery brights have moved to the back of the closet, the best way to be captured on film is in black and white…

Obviously blessed with bone structure, she looks lovely with bold cat-eye liner which is one of my favorite looks for winter.

Winter seems to have arrived and while we haven’t gotten snow yet, everyone is bundled up. I love these two images from The Sartorialist of very chic girls in very chic coats.

In honor of the holiday parties we will all have to attend, here are nine great dresses at great prices!
1. Urban myth dress Lulus, $57
2. Brings the Party dress Modcloth, $114
3. A/Wear Crinkle Satin Shift Dress ASOS, $60
4. Speechless Dress Modcloth, $62
5. Red Carpet Royalty Dress Modcloth, $129
6. Viennese Cafe Dress Modcloth, $139
7. Art Deco Beaded Dress ASOS, $163
8. Lace & Mesh Contour Dress ASOS, $72
9. TFNC Dress ASOS, $68

I adore this gorgeous and inspiring editorial. Sometimes I like the idea of being dressed to the nines with no particular plans at all…

I love everything about these two photos. The hair, the structure, the cheekbones…ahh.
