Christmas, Cupcakes and Cats

I love this Holiday themed editorial, especially the stilettos in the fridge! Hilary Rhoda is one of my favorite brunettes and I am totally going to try to recreate her look for at least one Christmas party. Maybe I can finally utilize my bump-it?

Subtle Christmas

This gorgeous Swedish home is decorated just enough for my taste. There are subtle and thoughtful touches everywhere but none of the typical, overwhelming cheese that seems to accompany most decor I see. First of all, the home is quite chic on its own and the seemingly effortless air has carried over into holiday decorations. Just lovely.

In Lonny‘s first anniversary issue…umm I really can’t address anything but Celerie Kemble‘s jaw-dropping, to-die-for home/boudoir/view of Manhattan.

Dressing Room Envy

So..this is pretty much my dream dressing room. Mine is coming together…a bit. Yesterday I got a wrought iron daybed (complete with trundle!). We have guests coming in town this weekend and I think a daybed befits a dressing room. I haven’t gotten it set up but I have high hopes. I need to hang pictures and a chandelier would really take everything to the next level.

So this is very raw but I’m going to incorporate the vanity, the shoe display and the day bed (below). I’d love to have a wall of mirrors, lots of art and I’m still considering the screen. Also needed: gigantic oriental rug.

Wonderful Wednesday

Love this carefree look.

Hi! First night in new place! So exciting! I felt like I was playing house because it felt so surreal to have a place all my own.

I live dangerously close to an Italian restaurant (2 doors down). I’m afraid I will be running over there constantly!

Everything is still in disarray but arranging and decorating is the fun part, right?

I’m very much looking forward to having friends over, hosting dinner parties and utilizing my bar cart!

I can’t wait to share photos with you…
