As the weather cools, I’m really into gloves, particularly wrist length, vintage or otherwise. They are easily findable on ebay and a fashionable way to overcome the chills.

Confections Abound
Today I’m missing New Orleans. It’s such a fabulous place to spend Halloween. Last year this time, my beau whisked me off to the Crescent City to spend time eating and drinking and playing. Thankfully he loved the city almost as much as I do.
Since there’s candy all around, I’m daydreaming of sweet treats from New Orleans Confectioner Sucre. They deliver!

The couple (Kestrin and Jonathan) look like so much fun, plus the bride is gorgeous and is in a band with the brother from Big Love called His Orchestra – they are great! Anyway, the groom’s sister is Flora Grubb and she shared their vows on her website. SO. Freaking. Adorable.

The Weekend Style & Memories
I love the weekend because I can dress however I want. I can stay in oversize pj pants, driving moccasins and hoodies or I can dash about in a cocktail dress (whether the occasion calls or not). This weekend, I plan to do a bit of both. Tonight: cocktail attire for a charity party; Tomorrow: pjs & mocs; Tomorrow Evening: I may have to bust out my leather leggings in honor of Bikes, Blues and Barbecue. They helped me snag my sweetheart two years ago this weekend, after all…

The Weekend!
Kick up your heels! It’s Friday! I’m having my first little shindig at the new place tonight.
I’m planning to wear my new favorite dress from Maude (below).
I have lots of besties in town and we’re planning to make the most out of our time together. There will be eating, drinking and merry-making. We’ve also got a BIG football game that the whole town is excited about. I’m a happy girl!
