I admire Cher. She has always taken pride in her looks. Lately, she is over-the-top but still captivating. In the 60s and 70s, she was really breathtaking. Long and lean with hair noir. She has never been afraid to take sartorial risks and therefore remains iconic.

Elin Kling is Sweden’s “It Girl” and she has her own personal style blog that is full of outtakes from her glamorous life. She rocks tailored pants, loose tees and jackets. Obviously she has great style and I think what I like most is that her look seems totally do-able. Pretty, Pretty Purple

To me, this is glorious. Purple is such a lovely color with so many hues and varieties. It’s just as beautiful in the fall/winter as it is in the spring/summer. The surrounding Jacarandas obviously bring the color to life (and make me desperate for spring) but the color itself is also moving. Purple can be worn by people of all complexions and hair colors. I especially want to mix a lavender blouse with a plum pant. I’m even partial to a dark violet smoky eye.
