Inside Joanna Hillman’s Closet

Joanna Hillman, the Market Editor at Harper’s Bazaar is a sartorial favorite and can be spotted in street style photographs all around. The Coveted has started peeking into fashion-people’s closets and I very much enjoyed seeing Joanna’s.

I always get funny looks from people on the streets wearing these sandals. I can almost hear them saying, 'Really? Seriously??!' but I love that! This Eddie bracelet is a staple of mine. I basically wear it everyday and people are so drawn to it and always ask me who designed it. Eddie is the king of designing for the downtown cool set.Sandals, Miu Miu; Bracelet, Eddie Borgo

Dreaming of Spring

scotchandscones:

I am daydreaming of Springtime and all of the lovely things it brings. Fresh oysters, champagne celebrations, patios, later sunsets, wearing shorts, getting a little sun, Spring flowers, farmer’s markets…ahh.

Pleasing Pink Decor

When most think of utilizing pink in home decor, they gravitate toward images of something concocted by strawberry shortcake meets Miss Piggy meets fairy princess. That’s not always the case. While it does tend to indicate a feminine touch and is not necessarily right for an entire color scheme, when done right it can be breathtakingly lovely. I love the fabulous girliness of a pink couch or pink wall. I’m not sure Ro would go for the mirrored bed covered in lush blush but he might be amenable to a few touches here and there.

The more I look at these rooms laced with pink, the more I love it. Most of these lovely images were found via {this is glamorous} which I must say is my very favorite blog out there.

Wrapped Up

fur1 Anna Iaryn by Man Sumarni for WWD

I always love to see examples of looking chic while fully bundled. I think this editorial featuring Anna Iaryn does exactly that.

Taking a late night trip into the city, Man Sumarni captures Anna Iaryn in luxurious furs for the December 28th issue of WWD. Outfitted by fashion editor Bobbi Queen, Anna dons an array of looks from the likes of Jerry Sorbara, Oscar De La Renta and Adrienne Landau. – FGR
