Today I’m feeling especially grateful for the ins and outs of everyday life – the beautiful weather, my loved ones, my health. Tragedy hits us all in unexpectedly poignant ways. We never know when a routine experience can change our lives forever. It’s important to savor happy moments and tell people how much you appreciate them. Here are five things I’m thankful for today.

She and her fiance moved into a new house and Apartment Therapy photographed it for our enjoyment. I like her style and decor choices, although they may not be exactly my taste, she has great ideas. We booked our honeymoon! AHHH! I’m so excited. We are going to Italy (Rome and Positano) for eight days. We’re staying at the Marcella Royal Hotel in Roma and Hotel Buci de Bacco in Positano.

Are we going to the same place?

Whenever my beau and I go out, I always suggest that we look like “we’re going to the same place”. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we dress alike. It just means that we are in the same neighborhood. We both look like we’re going to the same party, instead of him looking like he’s going to a frat event and me looking like I’m going to a Mad Men-themed bash. I think Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson do an exceptional job of this. They never match, rarely coordinate but always look very much together (not to mention adorable). Case in point…
