What I Wore: Blue Jean Baby

what I wore: jeans – levi via grey dog, blouse – vintage, heels – bcbg, bracelet – mae’s, earrings – mom’s

I found these amazing vintage levi’s last week at Grey Dog. I’m so excited about them because they’re the perfect length and rise. Also picked up the gorgeous silver bracelet at Mae’s – a local favorite.

What I Wore: Black & Blue

what I wore: blouse – ann chabrol, skirt – freeway, heels – gianni bini, earrings – mom’s

These are my “game of thrones” earrings. They look like little pirate swords and I plucked them from obscurity in my mom’s closet the other day. I’ve always been crazy about my mom’s jewels and have been lifting them from her for close to 16 years. Every time I look through her jewelry I find something I haven’t seen before – something I want… Luckily, she lets me borrow and borrows from me.

What I Wore: Red & Gold (+ enchiladas)

what I wore: skirt – esque, belt/blouse – vintage via cheap thrills, earrings – charm & chain, ring/bangle – mom’s, bangle – house of harlow, sandals – lovely people, necklaces – vintage via mae’s

Sometimes an outfit centers around earrings or shoes or any accessory. This one centered around this amazing belt.
Also I made chicken enchiladas last night and they were super easy and very yummy. I used this recipe and added black beans, salsa & cilantro.

What I Wore: In Black & White

what I wore: dress – max & cleo (old), heels – report signature, bag – vieta, sunnies – asos, earrings – vintage via mae’s

I’ve had this dress for at least 5 years and I couldn’t believe it when I couldn’t find a previous instance where I posted about it. It’s a really versatile and fun dress that I’ve worn to weddings & work alike.

What I Wore: Blushing

what I wore: dress (seen here) – cacharel from grey dog, heels – kelsi dagger, earrings/bracelet – forever21, watch – asos

Yesterday, I wore a dress that I had worn in April. Then I paired it with a lot of accessories, a big bun and a bomber jacket. This time, I did rose gold accessories with hair down.

What I Wore: Blue Bells

what I wore: top – vintage from cheap thrills, bells – asos, wedges – banana republic (old)

These are some of my favorite jeans and I recently found this perfect white white top, complete with shoulder pads.

What I Wore: Black Separates

what I wore: top – lna via shop lola, trousers – the limited, belt/watch – forever 21, cuff – express, ring – hemline, necklace – urban outfitters, heels – miss me

Whenever I wear separates (which is not often) they have to be good. I don’t think I’ve ever thrown on chinos and a top. Since I’m honed in on dresses most of the time, it takes a lot for a pant to speak to me. Last night I dug deep in to the recesses of my closet, where I keep the pants that don’t fit and found these gems. I don’t remember buying them but they’re a great length and I love the belt loops that are large enough for a giant belt. Paired with a tank I bought on sale at Shop Lola and a few accessories – it’s one of my favorite ‘separates’ look.

What I Wore: Among Hydrangeas

what I wore: vintage dianne ricco for nieman marcus (also seen here), cream blazer – unnamed vintage, heels – bcbg, lips – covergirl lip perfection in siren

I love this dress. It’s flattering, it can be casual or dressy and it’s work appropriate, but still a little sexy. It’s also happy – there are literally giant hydrangeas on the fabric. Don’t you love it when you find a dress that is versatile, fun and also you?

What I Wore: Big Blue

what I wore: shift – bonnie blair via grey dog, heels – quipid, earrings – boutique in SF
This shift is actually the top of some kind of pant suit. I’ve never seen the pants but you can only imagine. It’s a really fun piece because it can be worn loose and flowing or belted.
