Ever since I saw Kate Bosworth wearing this I have wanted wedged sneakers. I’m not exactly in the financial place to splurge on Isabel Marant, so I’m weighing the other options. I’ve always loved wearing comfortable kicks but at under 5’3″ I don’t like to sacrifice the height. These would provide the perfect marriage of comfort and fashion! I found some fun options on ebay as well.

These sailor pants took no time to become my favorite trousers. They create a flattering silhouette and are dressy enough for work but they’re navy so they can also be dressed down with a more casual top.

This dress is so aptly branded. I didn’t realize the name of the brand until I took it off to record it for this post, but it is nostalgia. The reason it’s nostalgic to me is that this dress was purchased for me by my mother on a girls’ trip to Eureka Springs, she also bought the same dress for herself and we proceeded to gallivant around in these matching dresses for subsequent years. This was about 15 years ago. The dress is still relevant and we both still have ours! Isn’t that fun?

My mom, brother – Asher, dad, aunt, uncle & his wife traveled to Charleston, SC to see my other brother – Hampton graduate last week. We had an amazing time. Charleston is such a fun/beautiful city and it’s about 9 miles from a lovely little place called Folly Beach, which happens to be one of my favorite locations.

I loved this little speckled blouse with the peter pan collar as soon as I spotted it at Potter’s House Thrift. At $2, it definitely came home with me!
