I didn’t realize until I began this post that everything I’m wearing (save the earrings/necklace) is from Forever. Either way, F21 is a great place to experiment without spending a lot of money. The earrings were a gift from my dear friend who just started working for Kate Spade. Of course, the high bun is an old standby and I loved pairing a double finger ring with another single ring. Speaking of rings, Ro’s wedding ring came in yesterday. Sh*t is getting real! Can’t wait!

Yesterday I paired red lips and straight hair with cigarette pants, a striped top and strappy sandals. I love this easy look. It can take you from summer to fall and is comfy too!

There are some things that I won’t do. There are less things that I won’t wear. A fanny pack is not one of those things. Those who know me well know that I’m unabashedly unafraid to bust them out at occasions other than a music festival or an amusement park. Some of the people dare to look down on this habit. I realize that not all fanny packs are cute or flattering, but some are! And I would like to share those with you now. Beware: some of them appear under the guise of “belt purse”. Whenever I want to look nice for work, a wedding, a party, etc and I don’t feel like trying to figure out an outfit, I have a go-to. This particular dress can be dressed up or down and can even be paired with tights in the winter. Everyone needs a go-to dress for random occasions that call for dressy, flattering and easy.

Black is really my favorite color to wear. Black and/or white actually. I love that you can accessorize with anything when dealing with a blank pallet. PS: I got the black beaded bracelets stuck on my upper arm – that was cute.
