What I Wore: Mad Men Inspired

(what i wore: dress – vintage, pumps – michael antonio, nails – sally hanson)
Yesterday I wanted to channel Joan so I pulled out a vintage dress, my absolutely tallest pumps and went on my way…

What I Wore: Transitional

(what i wore: glasses – shop ultra, tunic – forever21, jeans – levi, wedges – qupid)
Not sure why I’m wearing transitional outfits when it’s hot as an inferno outside. However, it’s very difficult to dress for being in air conditioning all day. Sometimes it feels so frigid inside, you’re uncomfortable wearing sleeveless. So, I wore this Friday and felt great all day inside my office. As soon as I stepped outside I thought I was going to stroke out. Nonetheless, I can’t wait to revisit it for fall.

Attitude is Everything

I think this campaign is super cute. Not only do I love the dresses, I also like her attitude which reminds me that attitude is everything when it comes to pulling off an outfit.Max Mara Elegante ss11 (2)Max Mara Elegante ss11 (4)Max Mara Elegante ss11 (5) Max Mara Elegante ss11 (6)Max Mara Elegante ss11 (7)Max Mara Elegante ss11 (8)Max Mara Elegante ss11 (9)Max Mara Elegante ss11 (10)

What I Wore: Prim & Proper

(what i wore: dress – forever21, pumps – forever21, rings – forever21, necklace – mom’s, earrings – kate spade)
I didn’t realize until I began this post that everything I’m wearing (save the earrings/necklace) is from Forever. Either way, F21 is a great place to experiment without spending a lot of money. The earrings  were a gift from my dear friend who just started working for Kate Spade. Of course, the high bun is an old standby and I loved pairing a double finger ring with another single ring. Speaking of rings, Ro’s wedding ring came in yesterday. Sh*t is getting real! Can’t wait!

60s Inspired Bangs

After an inner conversation with myself, I decided a hair chop is not something I am ready to do. Ro concurs. So I’ve become enthralled with the idea of cutting 60s-inspired bangs like Julia Stegner’s post wedding. Like?

What I Wore: Geometric

(what i wore: top – forever21, cropped pants – new york & co, necklace/earrings – forever21, strappy sandals – bcbg, red lip – covergirl lip perfection in flame)
Yesterday I paired red lips and straight hair with cigarette pants, a striped top and strappy sandals. I love this easy look. It can take you from summer to fall and is comfy too!

What I Wore: Neon Blooms

(what i wore: dress – the grey dog, heels – forever21)
As much as I love to accessorize, I’m also really excited when I find a dress that needs nothing else. This is one of those fun summery dresses that can be paired with tights when it gets chilly. Versatility people!

Color Clash?

emma stone friends benefits premiere 01

Emma Stone has been getting a lot of flack on the blogs and gossip sites for this Giambattista Valli number she wore to the Friends with Benefits premiere. I have to say I am feeling completely opposite about it. I think it’s totally fabulous.
