What I Wore: Autumn Welcome

what I wore: dress – worthington essential petites (thrifted), belt – vintage, heels – breckelle’s

What I Wore: More is More

what I wore: t shirt – lauren lee (thrifted), skinny cargos – american eagle, booties – gianni bini, earrings/double ring/band – forever21, peridot ring – vintage, ear cuff – claire’s, collar/cat eye sunnies – asos

I’ve been really into green lately. I’ve had these skinny cargos for a while but always forget about them. The other morning I was looking to wear this gold animal print t-shirt I got at goodwill and then I thought about them. With the croc booties, it’s a lot going on but all in all a fun look.

What I Wore: 40’s Throwback

what I wore: dress – vintage milanzo (thrifted), earrings – vintage from in retrospect, bow ring – forever21,  nails – bulletproof by pistol polish, heels – nine west
I got a really good pull when I went thrifting the other day, including this dress which was $2.50. I love the shape & femininity of the silhouette; especially paired with my 40s-ish nine west platforms. Also, if you are local (NWA), you really must check out In Retrospect on Township. It’s a vintage/kitsch mall with amazing jewelry, furniture and all sorts of other things – great prices too!

What I Wore: Bossy (Print & Nails)

what I wore: bodysuit – dkny (thrifted), skirt – nina piccalino (thrifted), platforms – forever21, nails – pistol polish in bulletproof

I have been very excited to get my September PISTOL polishes in the mail (see August here) and they did not disappoint! I’m obsessed with the shade shown (called bulletproof) because it’s teal-ish navy that only gets darker with the coats applied. I haven’t seen another color like it so props to my girl LT for conceptualizing!

What I Wore: The $3 Dress of Dreams

what I wore: dress – thrifted leslie lucks (similar here), heels – report signature with added ribbon, lips – covergirl lip perfection hot
With similarities to the extreme couponer, the bargain shopper is always on the hunt for the absolute best find at the  lowest possible price. Believe it or not this dress – complete with the adorable cinched waist, strong shoulders and open back – was $3.

What I Wore: Moody Maxi + Criminails

what I wore: dress – thrifted one to watch, nails – PISTOLpolish in criminail, booties – gianni bini, ring – black cherry vintage

So my extremely wonderful and talented friend recently started a subscription nail polish company. It’s similar to birchbox but you get full sizes.  Basically, you pay a monthly fee and two full size polishes are sent to your door in up-to-the-minute current hues. I was so excited to get mine that I immediately put it on. This is a sparkling gunmetal called criminail. Check it out here —-> PISTOLpolish, follow twitter @PISTOLpolish or find it on facebook.

Also, I found this dress for $3 at a local thrift store. I love the details like the high back neck and the slit. The colors do date it but I don’t really mind, especially for the pretty price tag.

What I Wore: Under $50

what I wore: pants $18 {similar here}/earrings $3/ring {similar here} $4 – forever21, top {similar here}$12 – mossimo target, sunnies $10 {similar here} – asos, heels $15 – qupid,

I am constantly shopping for a bargain but sometimes I realize just how little I paid for a cute outfit and am amazed by the cool things we can find if we’re not afraid to dig a little.

What I Wore: The Best Sweater

(what i wore: sweater – vintage from potter’s house, shift – banana republic, croc booties – gianni bini, earrings – forever21, rings – forever21 and vintage)

This vintage sweater, complete with sparkles and shoulder pads was $1.50 at a slightly scary little thrift store called Potter’s house. I’m obsessed with it. It’s a delightful color and goes with plenty, plus I get a strange and heady high from this good a bargain.

What I Wore: Neon Blooms

(what i wore: dress – the grey dog, heels – forever21)
As much as I love to accessorize, I’m also really excited when I find a dress that needs nothing else. This is one of those fun summery dresses that can be paired with tights when it gets chilly. Versatility people!
