A little looney

A favorite look from summer.
hat – italian market
bow – hobby lobby
looney tunes tee – thrifted
yellow skirt – vintage
platforms – bcbg

ootd - 144

What I Wore: Paisley

what I wore: dress – willie’s influence thrifted from potter’s house, heels – jessica simpson, necklace – kate spade, watch – bcbg, bracelets – vintage, gifted & house of harlow, rings – forever21 & mae’s
This shoulder-padded, floral, paisley, draped, harem concoction was around $3. So, you know, I was all over that.

What I Wore: Librarian-Chic

what I wore: dress – french connection (thrifted), heels – quipid, glasses – shop ultra, watch – bcbg, bangles – vintage & dannijo, nails – revlon
Glasses are one of those accessories that can completely change your look. These are my favorite frames from Shop Ultra, I immediately feel smarter (and chicer).

What I Wore: Socks with Sandals

(what i wore: sweater dress – bcbg from daisy exchange, socks – forever21, heels – nine west, jacket – tj maxx, necklace – dillards)
How do you feel about the socks with sandals trend? I’ve discussed it before and while I don’t think I’m ready to try anything wild (at least at work) I’m really into it as a means of transitional dressing. I’ve always had trouble transitioning to cold weather. Fall is definitely here and you know what that means…
WINTER IS COMING…(off subject Game of Thrones reference)

What I Wore: Bun + Shift

 (what i wore: shift – asos, heels – bcbg, – cuff/ring/earrings – unknown, ha)

I loved the outfit I wore yesterday. I really felt feminine and ladylike.  This is the kind of look I prefer: a shift, a huge bun, strappy shoes. I was extremely proud of my bun. Would you believe I didn’t know how to tease it this time last year? I have to share that I sent a pic of my hair to Erika Bearman (OscarPRGirl) and she tweeted back “it’s major” totally made my day…

What I Wore: Geometric

(what i wore: top – forever21, cropped pants – new york & co, necklace/earrings – forever21, strappy sandals – bcbg, red lip – covergirl lip perfection in flame)
Yesterday I paired red lips and straight hair with cigarette pants, a striped top and strappy sandals. I love this easy look. It can take you from summer to fall and is comfy too!

White on White

I’ve always loved the look of an all-white ensemble. It’s so chic. My favorite version is Elin Kling, shown. A classic white tee and high-waisted white pants. Of course a white t-shirt is pretty easy to find ( little boys section at Target or Old Navy) but the perfect high waisted *white* pants are not.

I’ve scoured the internet for you and found several affordable options! Happy shopping!
