what I wore: wax pants – 1st kiss via TJ, cardigan (worn backwards) – express, heels – jessica simpson, necklace – thrifted
OscarPRGirl inspired me to work a backwards cardi and I absolutely love the result.

What I Wore: CoverGirl Photoshoot

what I wore: wax skinnies – 1st kiss via TJ, top – vintage (thrifted), hat/mardi gras necklace – vintage via cheap thrills, booties – gojane, oxfords – target, sunnies – shop ultra
Last week I was lucky enough to be included in an informal CoverGirl photoshoot. I rarely get the opportunity to work with creative types, so I busted out an ensemble I hoped they’d appreciate. The hat was everything.

What I Wore: The Dark Side

what I wore: top – alice + olivia via cheap thrills, jeans – levi, platforms – nine west, necklaces/bracelets/rings – vintage

The one thing I really do love about cooler weather is the opportunity it affords to wear black, black & more black.

What I Wore: The Puffy Shirt

what I wore: blouse – vintage renditions, skinny jeans – gap thrifted, boots – steve madden, 2nd boots – asos, earrings – forever21

So if you watch Seinfeld, you will definitely remember the episode that Jerry is coerced into wearing the puffy shirt on The Today Show. I’m a Seinfeld fan (like most of us) and this shirt totally reminded me of that one. But slightly chicer.

What I Wore: Chain, Chain, Chain

what I wore: pants – the limited thrifted, blouse – campus casuals via cheap thrills, belt/socks/leaf necklace – forever21, oxfords/watch – target, rhinestone strand/earrings – mae’s, ring/necklaces – vintage

What I Wore: Going Southwest

what I wore: blouse – carole little for st tropez west (thrifted, find the brand here), skirt – max studio, boots – asos (similar) or these, turquoise earrings – forever21, turquoise beads – mae’s

I don’t know if you noticed, but I get some pretty amazing treasures from Mae’s. If you’re local and you haven’t been by there, you are completely missing out. I got these beads a few weeks ago and was giddy when I realized how well they went with my $3 earrings from Forever. You know how I love dressing on a theme, so I went full-on southwest with the whole ensemble.

What I Wore: Anniversary Dinner

what I wore: dress – vintage via cheap thrills, heels – steve madden

This dress has been around the block, as is the case with all good vintage. I first saw it in the window at Mae’s, (I was truly window shopping!) then my friend Angela wore it beautifully to a wedding (here) earlier this summer. A few weeks ago, my mom surprised me with it after my friends at Cheap Thrills told her I had my eye on it. I’d been saving it for a special occasion and our 1st anniversary was just that.

What I Wore: Far Out

what I wore: dress – vintage from cheap thrills, earrings/necklace – dollar store, heels – BCBG, sunnies – target

Doesn’t this dress have a fun Pucci feel?
