How do you feel about the socks with sandals trend? I’ve discussed it before and while I don’t think I’m ready to try anything wild (at least at work) I’m really into it as a means of transitional dressing. I’ve always had trouble transitioning to cold weather. Fall is definitely here and you know what that means…

I’ve been super excited to wear these boots I bought on ebay a few weeks ago. They’re the perfect height and heel for longwear and protection from the winter elements. But…they are so wide on top, it’s ideal for leggings but not dresses. So, I thought paired with socks they looked a lot more fun. I’ve had a lot of trouble finding above-the-knee socks, do you know where to find?
Monochrome
Isn’t monochrome the tops? I find it easiest to do with black or white but I love it no matter the color – especially brights. It’s sleek, slimming and oh-so-on-trend.

Coat Weather?
It’s the first day of fall and it definitely feels like it in our neck of the woods. The thing about Arkansas is the weather is consistently erratic. While it was 40 last night, it’s supposed to be 80s tomorrow. It’s very hard to dress for! Every year around this time, I have to look for inspiration on how to look chic in cooler weather. I think that jewelry has a higher power. Whether it’s because of the story behind it, where you were when you found it, who gave it to you or how it makes you feel when you wear it. Occasionally, I like to make an outfit all about the accessories.
