I don’t know if you noticed, but I get some pretty amazing treasures from Mae’s. If you’re local and you haven’t been by there, you are completely missing out. I got these beads a few weeks ago and was giddy when I realized how well they went with my $3 earrings from Forever. You know how I love dressing on a theme, so I went full-on southwest with the whole ensemble.
I really liked the juxtaposition of stripes on the shirt with checkers on the pants but I couldn’t figure out what to do with the shirt because the pants are a little big. I tried tucked in, tied to the side, tied in front and finally settled on tied in the back. Then I rolled the pants.
My uncle turned 60 this past weekend and we all congregated in Little Rock to fete him. This is one of my all-time favorite dresses. I feel like it’s the quintessential LBD – versatile, flattering & simple. Below, I’m with Ro & my brothers.
Someone else took a picture of me! I know it’s difficult to get used to. I love this sweet little dress from Grey Dog. I think the black background makes the bright floral really transitional.
