So I found this dress at the goodwill and I knew it would be much cooler if the rather dowdy and wrinkled slip were removed. I did just that, wore another shorter slip and voila!

This jacket is pretty major. I’m very excited about it. The dress is supposed to have a mid-calf hem but I used some hem tape to shorten and really loved the results.

When I mix patterns, (or prints or fabrics or colors) I try to lean towards whimsical, rather than take my outfit (or myself) too seriously. I love to have fun with my clothes/accessories but when taking a “risk”, I find it’s best to be light-hearted.
