What I Wore: Peachy Keen

what I wore: dress & belt – vintage from grey dog, heels – kelsi dagger, collar – urban outfitters, earrings – kate spade, watch & bangle – asos, necklace – vintage

Sometimes an ensemble looks best without too much extra and other times it begs for accessories. This was one of those times. I love any excuse to utilize my rose gold and am always clamoring for more. All in all, a quintessential spring look.

What I Wore: Spring Wedding

what I wore: dress – vintage from cheap thrills, heels – bcbg, bag – ann taylor (thrifted)

I wore this on Saturday to an evening wedding. The dress is one of my favorites that I own. It’s a great party dress that can be worn in any season. It does only good things for the figure and the gold threading actually sparkles. I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

What I Wore: Pleats/Bow/Blazer

what I wore: dress – grey dog, blazer – banana republic, heels – kelsi dagger
I found this great dress at Grey Dog the other day. I always find beautiful things there and Molly has constant loveliness on her sale rack. It’s hard to resist pleats & bows in the same frock!

What I Wore: Blue Ruffles

what I wore: dress – vintage from cheap thrills, belt – new york & co, booties – gianni bini, watch – bcbg, bangle – kate spade

This dress could go very Laura Ingalls Wilder without the right accoutrements but I really love it and with the right belt/shoes, it’s great for spring.

What I Wore: Bringing it Black

what I wore: dress – vintage from cheap thrills, heels – bcbg, watch – forever 21

This is one of my favorite dresses. It has a great neckline and the lace stripes are see-through so it can be worn as an upscale swim cover up.

Stylish Pairs

I love to see a good looking couple. I always tell the other half of my couple that we need to look like we are going to the same place. That doesn’t mean we must coordinate or even compliment. It’s just a succinct way to remember if we’re going to a cocktail party, I shouldn’t look like I’m headed to the opera and he shouldn’t look like he’s going to a baseball game. We’re going to the same place, no matter where that is. Here are some good examples from my pinterest board of the same name.

Olivia Palermo and her beau seem to do an exemplary job of this…

I like outfits like these because they’re fun but also professional. I think I’m going to get a lot of wear out of this kimichi blue skirt I picked up at (where else?) cheap thrills!

What I Wore: Top Hat

what I wore: pants – asos, blouse – la blouse from potter’s house, purple blazer – vintage arpeja (seen here), heels – jeffrey cambell via solestruck, hat – cheap thrills, earrings – vintage from mae’s, makeup – mollie booth, photos – mallory berry

What I Wore: Eggshell & Ecru

what I wore: dress & hat – no label vintage from cheap thrills, hat belt – grey dog, heels – 9 west, necklace – vintage from mae’s, earrings – kate spade, makeup – mollie booth, photos by mallory berry, styling by the window shopper

I love, love, love this combo of eggshell and ecru that feels very ladylike and 50s.
