Kim Noorda is my new favorite model/beauty/face. She’s so lovely and natural and I just love all these shots of her. Thought you might too. To me, this is glorious. Purple is such a lovely color with so many hues and varieties. It’s just as beautiful in the fall/winter as it is in the spring/summer. The surrounding Jacarandas obviously bring the color to life (and make me desperate for spring) but the color itself is also moving. Purple can be worn by people of all complexions and hair colors. I especially want to mix a lavender blouse with a plum pant. I’m even partial to a dark violet smoky eye.

I am excited. Long, drawn-out story but I just discovered Sam Edelman. I’m almost embarrassed I was not already familiar! I saw a girl wearing the most adorable boots on ebay and messaged her about them (obv they weren’t for sale but she was nice enough to divulge the brand). This lead me to discover that I am obsessed with any and all shoes by Sam Edelman. Esp these gorgeous booties that friendly ebay girl was wearing:
But it doesn’t stop there!
Literally every shoe is staring at me with weepy puppy eyes begging to have a home on my shoe shelf and my feet.
Am considering blowing christmas savings (who am I kidding?) on them.

Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere attended the Calvin Klein Beauty launch. There, the beautiful Diane Kruger (one of my beauty and style icons) told the crowd that she wears CoverGirl concealer! It warms the cockles of my heart to hear that.

I must admit I’ve fallen victim to the oversized chambray or denim work shirt. I found mine at my favorite thrift shop (for those locally, the Samaritan Shop in Springdale, I should do a post on how many amazing things I’ve found there but I digress) and I kinda can’t wait for the weather to get chilly enough for me to rock it. I’m thinking it’ll be great with my skinny green cargos. Has anyone else been captivated by this trend?

British Jewelry brand Daisy is my new favorite discovery, both cool and affordable, it is worth checking out. My obsession with stacking rings continues (as seen here and here) with a vengeance.
