I went into this little consignment store called Trendy Mindy’s a few weeks ago. They happened to have a load of vintage dresses in exactly (if not a little smaller than) my size! This dress has TULLE SLEEVES! Isn’t it divine? This dress was $15.

What I Wore: Slick

(what i wore: navy trousers – ralph lauren, blouse – vintage, earrings – charm & chain, rings – vintage, heels – vince camuto)
I’ve never tried this combo, thought I’ve had the pants and blouse for a while. I absolutely loved it. It was a little intense but I adore the detailing on the blouse – hidden buttons, wrap- around neck sash. I felt very professional.

Her Hair

I’ve often mentioned my fanaticism for Taylor Tomasi Hill. But one thing I cannot get over is her incredible hair color. Her colorist should be so proud.

Coat Weather?

It’s the first day of fall and it definitely feels like it in our neck of the woods. The thing about Arkansas is the weather is consistently erratic. While it was 40 last night, it’s supposed to be 80s tomorrow. It’s very hard to dress for! Every year around this time, I have to look for inspiration on how to look chic in cooler weather. Here are some looks I’m loving. (via pinterest)

What I Wore: Sophisticate

(what i wore; jacket – forever21, blouse – bcbg, skirt – apostrophe, heels – qupid, watch – bcbg, bangle – kate spade, pinky ring & rhinestone earrings – vintage from mae’s, long ring – ebay, beads – dillards)
One of my favorites  is the piled on look. Sometimes more is just better.

2011 Emmys: Best Dressed

Kerry Washington. The photo just doesn’t do it justice. On camera, on the Emmy stage, she looked ravishing in this Zuhair Murad ensemble.

Honeymoon Edition: Roma

Rome was our last destination and I must admit we were really tired by the time we arrived. But, we couldn’t go to Italy without experiencing some history! Above we are on the train from Naples to Rome.

Sightseeing around the city

A hilarious oops

Ro was the tallest man for miles until we met a couple from Holland. The guy was easily 7’1″
