What I Wore: The Blues

Yesterday I wore one of  those dresses that make you almost giddy and you kindof wish you could wear it everyday. I call them “cartoon dresses” because they become contenders for what you would want to be wearing if you were animated and forced by the confines of some illustrated sitcom to wear the same thing everyday (sorry if I sound a little crazy, I’m getting married in 10 days!).
I love it so much but it is vintage and slightly fragile so shapewear must be worn in the event that a button flies, the last thing I need is a boob slip at work…

I think that jewelry has a higher power. Whether it’s because of the story behind it, where you were when you found it, who gave it to you or how it makes you feel when you wear it. Occasionally, I like to make an outfit all about the accessories.

Friday I felt very patriotic. I love a good red lip. I’ve found that the best way to perfect it for someone like me – who gets it all over her teeth – is to do a base coat of a longwear. I use Covergirl Outlast lipcolor in everreddy. I then line and top with Covergirl Lip Perfection in Flame. I hope you had a lovely weekend! I did…

Looking Forward to Fall

Ok. Officially. It is too hot. I’ve given up hope that it will ever cool down. I’m thinking we will have to bring sweats and leggings to Italy where the high is a balmy 82 and the low is a frigid 60. If fall ever comes, here are a few things I look forward to wearing.
