I cannot get enough of Pinterest these days. The amount of inspiration is almost overwhelming. Here are a few things I’ve pinned.

I Love Gallery Walls

Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. I don’t believe that applies to art on the walls. When done right, a gallery wall can be spectacular. It can be done in any room, with or without a theme. It can cover a blank wall or a busy one, a small room or a large one…just make sure you’re happy when you walk in and don’t be afraid to take a few decorating chances.

Can You Call an Ottoman Sexy?
I think you can.

This was stolen from my rediscovered college friend (and accomplished interior designer) Tina. She’s going to help us find out where to purchase. Check out her blog – Sweet on Design.
Emily of Cupcakes & Cashmere – House Tour

If you haven’t heard of Cupcakes and Cashmere, you’re behind. Emily Schuman has developed a lovely blog with a religious following where she showcases outfits, recipes and shopping lists. She and her fiance moved into a new house and Apartment Therapy photographed it for our enjoyment. I like her style and decor choices, although they may not be exactly my taste, she has great ideas. See the full post (including where she purchased most everything) here.

The Matchbook Girl
I am very intrigued by the idea of online magazines. First Lonny then Rue and now High Gloss and Matchbook. A few of my favorite bloggers have banded together to publish online. I LOVE that you can actually click on the things you love and go straight to them through the interwebs. And while I will always love physically holding and reading and keeping a favorite magazine, the online versions are very new and fun.

I very much enjoyed reading through Matchbook and I loved the “type of girl”they are reaching out to, I encourage you to look through any and all of them!
Pleasing Pink Decor

When most think of utilizing pink in home decor, they gravitate toward images of something concocted by strawberry shortcake meets Miss Piggy meets fairy princess. That’s not always the case. While it does tend to indicate a feminine touch and is not necessarily right for an entire color scheme, when done right it can be breathtakingly lovely. I love the fabulous girliness of a pink couch or pink wall. I’m not sure Ro would go for the mirrored bed covered in lush blush but he might be amenable to a few touches here and there.
The more I look at these rooms laced with pink, the more I love it. Most of these lovely images were found via {this is glamorous} which I must say is my very favorite blog out there.

Subtle Christmas
This gorgeous Swedish home is decorated just enough for my taste. There are subtle and thoughtful touches everywhere but none of the typical, overwhelming cheese that seems to accompany most decor I see. First of all, the home is quite chic on its own and the seemingly effortless air has carried over into holiday decorations. Just lovely.

Lonny Favorite

In Lonny‘s first anniversary issue…umm I really can’t address anything but Celerie Kemble‘s jaw-dropping, to-die-for home/boudoir/view of Manhattan.

ahhhhh…sigh.
