While I realize your life does not revolve around what I might have worn,  I do apologize for leaving you hanging over the holidays. I was ill/traveling/hope you’ll forgive me. Posts probably will be a bit more sporadic as I’m working on some exciting stuff that I will share soon and some not so exciting stuff that I won’t bore you with. Happy 2013 & thank you for visiting.

What I Wore: A Favorite LBD

what I wore: dress – vintage/handmade by a seamstress’ union via cheap thrills, platforms – target, earrings – in retrospect

My uncle turned 60 this past weekend and we all congregated in Little Rock to fete him. This is one of my all-time favorite dresses. I feel like it’s the quintessential LBD – versatile, flattering & simple. Below, I’m with Ro & my brothers.

Basic Black

As someone who loves clothes, getting dressed and all-things-fashion…I still find myself confused as the colder weather moves in. I want my look to say “Fall” but I have trouble putting that look together. I tend to gravitate towards layers of black until I get my winter sea-legs, and really throughout the chilly months. You can’t go wrong with black and you can infuse the same outfit, time after time, with colorful shoes, scarves and jewels.
