Inside Joanna Hillman’s Closet

Joanna Hillman, the Market Editor at Harper’s Bazaar is a sartorial favorite and can be spotted in street style photographs all around. The Coveted has started peeking into fashion-people’s closets and I very much enjoyed seeing Joanna’s.

They made cool clothes that were so wearable and timeless. RIP.All by PhiI clearly had leopard fever this year!Blouse, Sonia Rykiel; Bag, Mulberry; Shoes, Topshop LondonI'm a fan of chunky heels, you will rarely find me in a super skinny stiletto. I like the height of these boots and the cheeky nod Derek made to a cowboy boot.Boots, Derek LamI love adding a little sparkle to a daytime look, something that catches the light.Earrings, J.Crew; Earrings, Lulu FrostThis Chanel bag is the ultimate classic accessory and is a part of my 'grab in case of a fire' list. It goes from day to night and is fab at every age. I plan to wear well through my 80's if I'm still around!Boot and coat, Derek Lam; Bag, ChanelHis jewelry tree has definitely grown over the years. I am soon going to need to have a forest of these trees if I keep up the way I have been collecting jewelry!Jewelry Tree, Various DesignersThis is where my purse sleeps every nightPurse, MulberryI enjoy playing with color in my wardrobe and even neons don't scare me, although I wouldn't wear these all together!! I would be bored to death wearing all black everyday. I believe color affects our moods and wearing fun, vibrant colors definitely makes me feel a little more cheery.Bag, Proenza Schouler; Necklace, Givenchy; Dress, Lanvin x H&MShoes, Miu MiuI wore it during last FW and one of its incredible green teeth fell off, but luckily I found it in one of my purses that the girls wanted to shoot for the site, talk about serendipitous!!Necklace, MawiI would love to make wallpaper out of these prints, they are just so darn pretty. I scoop up interesting prints anytime I can because I know how hard a really good print is to find.Thakoon; Karen Walker; Lyn DevonThese shoes are really like jewelry for your feet! I always get funny looks from people on the streets wearing these sandals. I can almost hear them saying, 'Really? Seriously??!' but I love that! This Eddie bracelet is a staple of mine. I basically wear it everyday and people are so drawn to it and always ask me who designed it. Eddie is the king of designing for the downtown cool set.Sandals, Miu Miu; Bracelet, Eddie Borgo

Love this Look: New Monochromatic

Recently discovered Greg Kessler’s blog – Go Backstage and am loving the candid, behind-the-scenes photos. I absolutely love this look. It’s the combination of different colors within the same palette, from shoes to hair.

Love this look

Sienna Miller is one of my fashion icons. While I’m not sure why she’s back with Jude, (he cheated on you with the nanny, Sienna!!!) they do look good together. Everything about her look works, from the smokey eye to the sky-high heels.
