I adore these sugary-sweet images of pretty girls in hats and gloves eating confections. What’s more fun?

Now that I have THE DRESS, I can focus on the dresses (among other things) that I will hopefully wear to parties here and there. I love the idea of the bride wearing a chic white dress to all the engagements she attends. Here are some inspiring dresses…
This one is the ultimate…
All these beauties are from net-a-porter and are linked to their sources.

This past Saturday was warm and sunny and such a nice reprieve from the chill that is far from over. With yet another Winter storm on the way, I am thinking ever more about Summer and savoring that lovely time whether we are there in our minds or in reality.

This dress from ModCloth would be the perfect party-hostess-dress, don’t you think?

Can anyone else not get over Teenage Dream from Glee? I’m not a Katy Perry fan but damn! I cannot get the song out of my head. Go here if you haven’t seen it. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Holiday-wear. If you lived down under. Or if you do not care about the elements, which sounds more like me. Wearing a gorgeous dress with galoshes is totally my steez.

I don’t always love Anne Hathaway but I have to admit she is quite lovely. I enjoy her best when she embraces the princess type she has been avoiding since Ella Enchanted. Ballgowns and up-swept hair are very befitting on her.

I recently discovered the cutest little wedding photographed by Feather Love…

Also, please read the NYT write-up of their union. “Ms. Pantera, the former Jedi warrior, pledged in her wedding vows “to constantly generate a force field of awesome.” When asked about her hopes for the couple, the bride’s mother, Jan Pantera of Visalia, Calif., said, “I wish for them a good credit score,” revealing the origin of the bride’s practicality.”
