Jumper – Vintage via Cheap Thrills
One of my favorite things about warm weather is the ability to wear one thing and be ready. I wore this jumper twice this weekend alone, I know I’ll be pulling it out all summer.
what I wore: checkered pants – gap (thrifted), heels – michael antonio (thrifted), necklace – vintage, earrings – target, ring – black cherry, rose gold asos, belt – thrifted, sunnies -thrifted, blouse – koret
When I mix patterns, (or prints or fabrics or colors) I try to lean towards whimsical, rather than take my outfit (or myself) too seriously. I love to have fun with my clothes/accessories but when taking a “risk”, I find it’s best to be light-hearted.
I really liked the juxtaposition of stripes on the shirt with checkers on the pants but I couldn’t figure out what to do with the shirt because the pants are a little big. I tried tucked in, tied to the side, tied in front and finally settled on tied in the back. Then I rolled the pants.
