Coat Weather?
It’s the first day of fall and it definitely feels like it in our neck of the woods. The thing about Arkansas is the weather is consistently erratic. While it was 40 last night, it’s supposed to be 80s tomorrow. It’s very hard to dress for! Every year around this time, I have to look for inspiration on how to look chic in cooler weather. Here are some looks I’m loving. (via pinterest)
Feminine Pastels
The following photos exemplify why it’s so fun to be a girl.
ladylike scarves, platforms, soft blues
sweet hues in delicate fabrics
light shades of nude, peach and cream
a blooming heel
frothy frocks and lots of leg
lovely lucite, feathers and a glittering clutch
white on white, sequins, smoky eyes
Would You Wear? {Turbans}
Women of the western world have been dabbling in turban-wear for quite a while. But, if you’re acquainted with the Man Repeller, you know that turbans are not one of the most attractive things you can wear (according to men…but who cares!). However, it is easy, fashionable and a fabulous way to disguise unwashed hair. Personally I love it but have not tried it. For some reason, I feel like it looks better with a tan (doesn’t everything?). PS – I discovered airbrush spray tanning. Life changer. I digress. What do you think of turbans? My final thought is that it takes a chic person to make the turban look chic.

So…what do you think? Will you try it? I think this last image convinces me the most.
