Navy Gravy

IMG_8624I got navy tights. It’s about time. I feel like they’ve been missing from my wardrobe for a lifetime. Navy feels very fresh this season, don’t you think? Shout out to Ms. Darcy from Hello Luvvy for taking these pictures; she also posted this lovely recap of our (what is becoming a monthly) collaboration. Stay tuned for another glittering (hint!) project!

winter is, err, coming

It’s November. And it’s starting to feel like it. Layers save the day, per usual. I had a few meetings in Bentonville and borrowed Elysian‘s alley to capture my ootd. Later, I walked into a gas station and a lovely gentleman with a tear tattoo on his face asked me if I was from LA because I looked “trendy”.

Restless Peace

I love a good collaboration. When Ms. Darcy from Hello Luvvy asked if I would join her in the cemetery wearing florals, I didn’t hesitate to say “yes”! {Thanks Darcy & Luvvys!} When we met, the first thing we noticed was that we had both styled our vintage florals with a brooch at the collar.
It was a lovely, warm day. The cemetary was nothing resembling creepy and the geese followed us around expecting crumbs.
On Darcy: dress – cheap thrills / boots – savoir faire
On me: dress/sunnies – grey dog / boots – plato’s closet / brooch – cheap thrills / snake earrings – a gift

The rain made a shoe change necessary.

What I Wore: The Basic Black Dress

what I wore: dress – thrifted dkny, pointy pumps – thrifted michael antonio, earrings – forever21
I hadn’t been overly enthused about pointy toe heels coming back until I found these lovely stilettos at a thrift store. Never worn, $3. Deal.

What I Wore: Weekender

what I wore: oversize t-shirt dress – absolutely beach (thrifted), wedge trainers – asos, necklace – vintage
The most comfortable outfit ever. I found this plus-size t-shirt at the thrift store and it’s just long enough to be a dress (if you take precautions!).
