What I Wore: Long & Short

what I wore: skirt & necklace – mom’s, blouse – potter’s house, heels – bcbg

My mom is moving and gave me a few things she just couldn’t hold onto anymore, including this skirt. I’ve been so into maxi skirts & dresses so I wanted to wear it immediately. I thought it was a nice spin on wearing black and tying the top made it feel current.

What I Wore: Snowflakes

(what I wore: sweater – izod from potter’s house thrift, skirt – zara, fleece leggings – ?, boots – ebay, earrings – vintage)
When I woke up to see the first snow of the season, I was inspired to bust out my snowflake sweater. I love this sweater but I’m not sure I love the combo. It’s difficult to tuck a thick sweater into a skirt and work it.

What I Wore: Redux

(what i wore: trousers – new york & co, blouse – vintage from potter’s house, belt – vintage from the grey dog, ring – vintage, earrings – kate spade, heels – vince camuto)

I wore this in mid August and decided to repeat it last week. Even though it’s cream, I think it transcends seasons.

What I Wore: 70’s Inspired

(what i wore: trousers – new york & co, blouse – vintage from potter’s house, belt – vintage from the grey dog, rings – forever21, earrings – a birthday gift from my soon to be husband)
Yesterday I wore these cream high waist pants with an ivory blouse. I love this look because it’s sophisticated but still shows off curves.

What I Wore: Oldies but Goodies

(What I Wore: top – old navy, skirt – dina bee/thrifted, cut-out wedges – nine west)
Yesterday I busted out some old stuff that I had never worn together. I thought it turned out nicely.  I’ll take any excuse to wear my Nine West cut-out white wedges, they’re like 5 years old! I hope you have a great weekend!

What I Wore: Muted

(What I Wore: Earrings – ?, Jumper – Vintage Maternity cutoff, Blouse – Silence and Noise, Belt – Old Navy, Croc booties – Gianni Bini)
Last week I busted out my cut off maternity jumper, paired it with some fiery orange feather earrings and this was the result.

Outfit: Flower Child

skirt – vintage from Daisy Exchange, white tee – hanes, belt – vintage, platforms – BCBG, right hand ring – mom

I found this delightful vintage skirt at the Daisy Exchange in Fayetteville. This is a perfect example of why I like shopping there. It was $4. No offense, but the people that run the place have no idea how to price quality vintage items. The same skirt at cheap thrills would have been at least $20, which still would have been reasonable. It wraps around and clips in the back, it’s extra long and it also has pockets!
