How do you feel about the socks with sandals trend? I’ve discussed it before and while I don’t think I’m ready to try anything wild (at least at work) I’m really into it as a means of transitional dressing. I’ve always had trouble transitioning to cold weather. Fall is definitely here and you know what that means…

The Modern Fanny Pack
There are some things that I won’t do. There are less things that I won’t wear. A fanny pack is not one of those things. Those who know me well know that I’m unabashedly unafraid to bust them out at occasions other than a music festival or an amusement park. Some of the people dare to look down on this habit. I realize that not all fanny packs are cute or flattering, but some are! And I would like to share those with you now. Beware: some of them appear under the guise of “belt purse”. What do you think about this trend? I don’t like a lot of skin showing but I do think it can be very retro and chic when done right.
Work It, Girl
I must admit I’ve fallen victim to the oversized chambray or denim work shirt. I found mine at my favorite thrift shop (for those locally, the Samaritan Shop in Springdale, I should do a post on how many amazing things I’ve found there but I digress) and I kinda can’t wait for the weather to get chilly enough for me to rock it. I’m thinking it’ll be great with my skinny green cargos. Has anyone else been captivated by this trend?
