It’s wedding season! We have at least five weddings to attend this summer! As I mentioned here, my favorite dress trend is the open/low back gown. It’s so fresh. I’ve found a few more that I love and wanted to share.

Natalia is oh-so-lovely. Hope you enjoy. From Fashion Gone Rogue.
Last week, I wrote an open letter to Jason Wu. I was enchanted by his Resort 2011 collection (and still am) but he has been surpassed. Monique Lhuillier. There’s really nothing more to say. Enjoy for yourselves. Feast your eyes. I literally want every. single. look…including the shoes!

You really must look here and see the WHOLE collection.
Christine Centenera is the Fashion Editor for Harper’s Bazaar Australia. A crush-worthy occupation in and of itself, I was nonplussed yet un-surprised when I realized she is young, thin, hot & stylish.

Immediately, I hate her/like her immensely. Isn’t it just like us girls to begrudge and admire someone at the same time? What makes us that way? I digress.. Either way, girlfriend looks amazing and I have similar ivory booties (Gianni Bini minus the studs) which she reminded me to wear.
They are the ivory patent leather version of the below, mentioned here.

Doesn’t it seem that once someone becomes a continual style-winner, all of their previous faux-pas are forgotten? Not everyone can be so lucky but Ms. Biel is a prime example. She has been looking better-than-ever lately! And the thing is, she has always had a gorgeous face, rockin’ body and pretty (usually) hair but she just hasn’t played it up right. She’s had a good look here, an average look there, etc. etc. Lately, the past is in the past and her stylist needs a raise. Another thing I love about her is she goes by my favorite rule & I think I made this up…
Boobs, Back or Legs. Pick one to show. Rarely show 2. Never show all 3.
CDFA Awards. Well done.
MTV Movie Awards. Demure, sexy, flattering…at the same time, who knew it was possible?
Letterman Appearance. So chic and simple.

A-Team promotion. I don’t love this dress but she looks amazzzzing.
Airport Chic.
To look cute after a workout? Ahhh the envy.
Adorable.
Meeting? Office? Wherever?
Simple/Chic. Errands. Date night.
You’ve come a long way from this JB!

Must share. Must share! These are the most gorgeous, stunning, lovely (expensive, slightly, but these dresses are works of art…honestly) drool-worthy dresses. I LOVE a good dress and wear them more often than not, especially in the summer. Please take some time to peruse the girly, frothy, voluptuousness of Posh Girl Vintage. I especially die over their wedding/party dress section!

PS: here’s a pic of Birdie – I’m forcing my love of dresses on her!

Starting a new weekly thing since I practically do this anyway. From Forever21’s new arrivals…these is my weekly wish list:

1 striped skirt 2 silk top 3 pineapple tube 4 tulle tutu (sooo SATC) 5 pattern romper 6 batwing top 7 sunglasses 8 tie-dye dress 9 stacked heels 10 also really want this vices shirt from UO
Who doesn’t love an amazing vintage find? You know it’s one of a kind, and that holds a lot of the appeal. I love to go to thrift shops and vintage boutiques but I’ve recently noticed that there is a wealth of fun/affordable/lovely vintage online. Perusing is almost as fun as trying on!

I’m getting giddy about seeing SATC 2 tomorrow, even though I’ve read some less-than-flattering reviews and I must admit that I’m not QUITE as excited as I was for the first movie. But I love it for the fashion as much as I love it for the girls. And I know the movie won’t disappoint in that arena.

This may seem redundant because I know every girl feels this way. But I’m inspired by many Carrie Bradshaw looks. One of the things I love most about the character is how she dressed for any occasion. She also often dressed with a theme, but always in a chic vs. a campy way. While she almost always looked fabulous, we also saw her dress down which makes her all the more real. More faves…
I loved everything about this outfit and I mentioned how much I love her flower brooch here.

Love, Love, Loved this outfit. This is the day Carrie meets Berger and she’s wearing a chic frock, fitted jacket and sky-high wedges.

I totes try to re-create this look. I have a crisp white blazer (thrifted) that I pair with a ratty old mickey mouse tee (gift from an old beau).

Love it when Carrie channels Jackie-O while she is dating the politician (she says, “found some vintage Halston”). It’s fun to dress for a part. You don’t have to dress like the same girl everyday.

She’s adventurous…swinging for her column, and she’s dressed to work-out. There’s no place for heels on a trapeze.

I love this. Sometimes, no matter how great you look, the wind can literally or metaphorically blow your skirt up.

Why not wear a white sun-dress/parasol combo for strolling outside in the sun?

More to love
