I was pretty much obsessed with this outfit, it felt very 90s but also seasonally appropriate and fun. I whipped my hair back and forth all day!

I realize that this suit looks quite blue in pictures but I assure you, it was very purple. And delicious. It was $15 at cheap thrills and I absolutely fell in love. Obviously, the jacket and skirt can be worn separately or together. I paired with straight-as-I-can-get hair and black strappy sandals.

It’s the first day of fall and it definitely feels like it in our neck of the woods. The thing about Arkansas is the weather is consistently erratic. While it was 40 last night, it’s supposed to be 80s tomorrow. It’s very hard to dress for! Every year around this time, I have to look for inspiration on how to look chic in cooler weather. I loved the outfit I wore yesterday. I really felt feminine and ladylike. This is the kind of look I prefer: a shift, a huge bun, strappy shoes. I was extremely proud of my bun. Would you believe I didn’t know how to tease it this time last year? I have to share that I sent a pic of my hair to Erika Bearman (OscarPRGirl) and she tweeted back “it’s major” totally made my day…
