I went into this little consignment store called Trendy Mindy’s a few weeks ago. They happened to have a load of vintage dresses in exactly (if not a little smaller than) my size! This dress has TULLE SLEEVES! Isn’t it divine? This dress was $15.

I always have a lot of fun dressing for gameday (especially if our team wins). Rather than wear a team t-shirt and jeans, I like to take the color (red) and run with it!

Heading to a Concert

My team at work has “offsites” where we head to a neighboring town, walk stores and do something fun. Today we’re going to the Taylor Swift concert in Tulsa. Get excited for a What I Wore post – I’m wearing a square dancing dress…

Honeymoon Edition: Roma

Rome was our last destination and I must admit we were really tired by the time we arrived. But, we couldn’t go to Italy without experiencing some history! Above we are on the train from Naples to Rome.

A hilarious oops

Ro was the tallest man for miles until we met a couple from Holland. The guy was easily 7’1″
I gained 7lbs in pizza ALONE

Honeymoon Edition: The Amalfi Coast

On the second day in Positano, we had a driver and guide accompany us along the Amalfi coast. We passed through Furore, Praiano, Minori and Maiori and stopped in Amalfi and Ravello. The view was absolutely ridiculous the whole way. Amalfi is the hub of the whole coast. All the kids living in Positano or Salerno or wherever are bussed to Amalfi to attend school. Ravello is a musical village high up in the cliffs where tons of artists come every year to perform. It was interesting to learn that the teeny (often one lane) highway we were on was the only way to get from one end of the coast to the other. For generations, the only way to get from the mountain villages to the coast was  down steps!
The beauty was not only in the coast, the water, the buildings but also the agriculture. There were terraces of lemon trees, vinyards and chestnut trees. I have also never tasted a better tomato!
