Rising Hemlines: Part 1
I recently took a bunch of dresses to a sweet little seamstress to be shortened. I felt like a floozy asking to take all these hemlines up but it was so worth it. This shirt dress was mid-calf length; awkward with a belt, sack-like without. Shortening was just the trick! More to come.
PS: do you like these winter wedges? They’re pretty amazing if I don’t say so myself.

Celebrate Gift Guide
I have a very lovely friend who works for Celebrate Magazine. For the December issue, she asked my hubby and I to help her out with a pretty cool gift guide. My friend Darcy said she wanted to do a dressy Holiday shoot and I told her she came to the right person. I just happen to have quite the collection of sequins and sparkles, on dresses, natch.
So, I styled us up in my finest, Samantha from Crown Beauty Bar did our makeup & hair and Ms. Mallory Berry offered her trailer for the location.
