MTV Award Fashion
Nothing blew me away. Sooo here’s what I felt like sharing. Red carpets have been so uninteresting lately, do you agree?
Chelsea Handler: I hate this dress. Am I being too harsh?
Bynes: Hanus. Too much. The extensions, the tightness, the make-up.
Leighton: I am just not into this. I feel like I’ve seen this dress everywhere.
Reese: Safe
I’m an Emma Watson fan but this dress does nothing for her. Except making her look like a gymnast.
I’m seriously tired of Cam wearing rompers/short shorts. You have amazing legs. We get it.
Jessica Szor: Hobby Lobby meets Brooklyn
Emma Stone seems to be doing a lot of good things style-wise. I’m also impressed by the fact that her hair seems to look good in every color.
Elle Fanning: age-appropriate, adorable
K-Stew: While I’m not loving the safety pins, I do think this is a welcome look from her. She’s slightly smiling. Her hair looks real. Her make-up isn’t toooo smoky.

The Other Sister

Everyone now knows who she is – Pippa. Before the coming out party for her derriere, (otherwise known as the royal wedding) she was the sister of Prince William’s girlfriend, a chic British socialite. Now she is a whirlwind, worldwide phenomenon. She’s constantly watched and reported on, her fashion recreated and sought after, her figure envied. She seems to be taking it all in stride. So, what is it about Pippa? She’s been called the most eligible girl in England. Her booty has a Facebook fan club and in my opinion, she is quite cute. What do you think?

Pretty Faces
Foul Play: Ke$ha

What can you say? I know she’s not fat because her thighs aren’t touching but this has to be the most ill-fitting dress ever assembled. This goes to show you that celebrity does not guarantee you taste. This is seriously horrifying.
Paris, caged?

When I saw this, I immediately thought, “wow – they finally locked her up”. Such a good photo. Poor pony.

Miss Piggy

For full disclosure, I must admit that I’ve never, ever, ever been a fan of Ms. Aguilera. I don’t like her voice (although I will admit she is talented), I don’t like her style, I don’t like her attitude, I don’t like her flimsy blonde hair. I’ve said before that she reminds me of a blonde Snooki but I really think the most apt comparison is to the lovable Muppets’ character: Miss Piggy. Do you agree? Too harsh?

Well Done in Cannes
In France, people look better. I’ve been giving some scathing reviews lately, so I thought I’d point out the pretty people for once!
I’m a big Rachel McAdams fan. I love her look and I am always intrigued by her style choices. This LWD is lovely on her figure and manages not to wash her out. I am jealous that she can pull off the long-bangs-parted-in-the-middle look.

I’m sure this red number is more polarizing but I am really liking it. Her body is incredible and it’s DIFFERENT. Thank god for some variation on the Red Carpet. Do you like the visible seam going down her back? I kinda think I do…

OMG Uma! Where have you been? She looks absolutely gorgeous. Everything is completely spot-on (save maybe the slightly straggly hair). Women like Uma make me wish I was 5’10” and statuesque.

Salma & Angelina were notable.

Finally, she wasn’t at Cannes but I have to give credit where it’s due and I’m already in the process of writing this post. Rosie Victoria Secret-Transformers is a barbie doll come to life. It’s really no wonder that the menfolk voted her as the the “hottest woman in the world. I have to say, in this dress, I agree.
