Celebrate Gift Guide

celebrate mag 12 2013
I have a very lovely friend who works for Celebrate Magazine. For the December issue, she asked my hubby and I to help her out with a pretty cool gift guide. As I said, I turned into a pageant mom when Ro modeled for The Independent. I thought it was pretty hilarious that we are both featured in the mag but not together. Photos by Jade Howard

Absence to Fondness? / What I Wore: Sophisticated Christmas

IMG_4151

(what I wore: hat – vintage via cheap thrills, earrings – grey dog (revamped by Stacey @ Dark Star Visuals), dress – sketches by christine jaguin via cheap thrills, b pin – vintage, heels – stuart weitzman via daisy exchange)
While I realize your life does not revolve around what I might have worn,  I do apologize for leaving you hanging over the holidays. I was ill/traveling/hope you’ll forgive me. Posts probably will be a bit more sporadic as I’m working on some exciting stuff that I will share soon and some not so exciting stuff that I won’t bore you with. Happy 2013 & thank you for visiting.

What I Wore: Velvet & Taffeta

what I wore: dress – vintage via trendy mindy’s, tights – target, platforms – forever21, earrings – purchased in mexico, ring – family heirloom
Ooops Christmas came late. I just couldn’t help it with this. I felt a bit Samantha, the American Doll does Holiday in 1992 but whatever. Getting dressed is still about playing dress-up, is it not?
